Even if you take care of your pets, you cannot always stop them from going out into the yard. So in that case, you can spray your yard with a good and effective flea insecticide, around two times during the months of summer. Even you kill all the fleas in your home, but forget to spray your yard; there will be enduring flea problems time and again.
One major reason of flea infestation in your house is that if after you clean your house, you forget to clean your vacuum cleaner, all the fleas that were there in the vacuum bag, will crawl right out of the bag and make their way into house once again and start multiplying in number. You can prevent this by, taking the vacuum bag out and spraying some flea insecticide in it. After that you can tape the vacuum bag. If you can repeat this procedure for two to three days, for around two weeks, after two weeks, you will find your home free of these annoying pests.
After continuing this process for two weeks, and clearing the flea infestation, you can get back to your normal vacuum schedule, but remember to tape your vacuum bag after cleaning, because you never know when your pets bring in more fleas. But most importantly make sure to keep your pets free from flea bites, because it is they, who are the main gateway for fleas to enter your home. Keep your pets clean, and your home clean and maintain proper hygiene and sanitation, to reduce the possibility of flea attacks. |
